Deleted3507349User Posted January 26, 2013 Share Posted January 26, 2013 Try using the D3D9Gen utility. I know it's from the New Vegas Nexus, but it works just fine for Oblivion, Skyrim, and FO3. Just follow the directions to create a custom D3D9.dll and put it in your game folder (the same folder where TESV.exe is). This won't fix all the shadow problems, but it will stop the flashing shadows problem some people get when moving from an area in shade to an area in sunlight (for example, passing under a tree). To fix it, open SkyrimPrefs.ini in ...\My Documents\My Games\Skyrim\ and change "bDeferredShadows=1" to "bDeferredShadows=0" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
