Classify: Apocalypse file 2 & 3

Well, I just decided that I'd stick to the original plan and make it a list of notes. (House of Falling Leaves, anyone? :P )

 

I'm only including file 3 with this because it's too short to have it's own topic(and, actually, was written first.)

 

 

File 2:

February 12th

Dear Diary,

 

Today has been yet another good day. I finally got that raise I had hoped I'd get. There'd been a lot of excitement in the previous days and of excitement in the previous days and I was starting to wonder if the boss was really going to follow through. I'm just glad I was the one to get it. Now I'll be able to get that car I had been looking at for so long.

 

Also, there had been rumors that the war had started. I don't know if the rumors are true, but considering how long the tension has been going, I wouldn't be surprised if they were.

 

February 13th

Dear Diary,

 

Tomorrow is Valentines Day. Won't my wife be surprised! Not only am I getting her the standard issue card and roses, but I got her that necklace she'd been looking at for so long. I'll also be taking her out to dinner at the restaurant we had our first date at.

 

On a darker note, however, the war has indeed started. And now there're threats about some new weapon being launched at us. I kinda doubt it, though. No grand scale weapons ever get successfully created anymore. Especially in a third world country such as that one.

 

February 14th

Valentines Day.

 

Something has happened! Something horrible has happened! There was an explosion! One like I've never seen! It was shaped like a mushroom, but... It was black. The fire was black!!

 

And... She's dead. My loving wife is dead. Why'd she have to die?! Why today? Why?! Today was supposed to be the day. I was gonna give her the time of her life. Show her just how much I loved her. And now she's gone.

 

God damn it all!

 

 

 

 

And now, file 3:

 

They're here! They're after me! I saw them! A calamity in the darkness! Watching my every move! They're gonna get me!

 

I need to get out of here! I'm gonna die! I need to get out of here or I'm gonna die!

 

The door is nearby. If i can make it out, then there's hope. I just need to make it there. They're crawling nearby, though. I hear them! That sick noise sounds so close!

 

Oh beautiful sun, where are you? Come save me from these raptors of death!

 

 

 

 

 

If i later do switch to conventional book format, I'll somehow work these in.
