DragoonFurey
Im faced with something of anoyance in morrowind, if i train my skills naturaly i find i get bored really fast from the tediusness of it. at the same time I find that stealing/looting/questing for items to sell and then training my skills up just leaves me feeling kind of hollow. I think all those FF games drilled level by killing/exp so deep into my brain that anyother way just seems unnatural. Anyone else have this problem? There must be some kind of balance between the two somewhere...just need to find it. Its occured to me recently that there are way to many cheap things the game lets you do like, echanting a full set of exquisite cloathing with CE sanctuary, reflect, spellabsorb, or magickaresist. not to mention jink blades and my oh so favorite mastertrainers + creeper Ahahaha typing all that out i think i know what to do now....kill creeper =)
link
if i get really bored in the game i once used the editor to give myself loads of gold, then placed the master trainers for my chosen skills in the one building. Then you just keep training with them. make sure the building has a bed though so you dont have to walk around looking for one. This counts as cheating and i only did it once , but after a half hour you can have a really powerful character,it ruins the game and i dont suggest doing it. Elucidator
If you sign up with a certain guild and work at the orders/duties they give you it stays interesting as you move up in the ranks of the guild. My favorite “faction” is the legion. You should level up as you explore the world. You should rather try to complete the quests than to level. Your problem is in my opinion a result of your own actions. Yes the game may be slow in leveling but there is a sort of elegance about it. And if this is still too slow for you maybe the game isn’t for you!?!?!
DragoonFurey
Oh no this game is deffinetly for me, though i must admit ive never played through the legion, ill have to try that. If i gain levels at a rate of about 1 for every 4 quests ill happily be a imperial lap dog.
