AusAllerWelt
Purple textures on characters always means that textures are missing. It seems that the mod didn't install correctly, or it might have been installed to the wrong location. When you go into you New Vegas folder and open Data/Textures/Characters do you see any folders? Or do you even have that path of folders?

AusAllerWelt
It seems that the files are all there, so it's odd that the textures aren't showing up. Did you try launching the game with only NVR3 active?
dubiousintent
Have you tried toggling "ArchiveInvalidation" off-and-on-again since installing NVR3? -Dubious-

Archer199701
I have archive invalidated with the mod on and I have tried disabling all other mods I should also note the purple textures only seem to effect 40-50 year old women in the face and effects raider females body wise Edited August 2, 2020 by Archer199701
M48A5
Whenever you make any changes to any texture, you must toggle (turn off/turn on) archive invalidation. Having it on does nothing when you change textures. You state that "folder_managed_by_vortex", did you manually download the mod? Newer mod managers have shown that in some instances that they do not install older FoMods correctly. It would be a good idea to check your meshes and texture folders to ensure the mod was installed correctly.
Archer199701
I did turn archive invalidate off and on and I was thinking that too about it not being installed correctly because I'm using Vortex and the tutorial video he uses the old nexus mod manager so maybe Vortex just doesn't install it correctly but idk how I'd fix that issue without completely starting over and using the old mod manager and yes I manually downloaded the mod to my desktop then manually put it into the manager just like he did but again he used the old one not vortex like I did ISSUE HAS BEEN SOLVED it was Vortex I have to use the older nexus mod manager Edited August 3, 2020 by Archer199701
