Georgiegril
Have you run BOSS? Addressed all the messages in the BOSS log?Crashes at the logo often indicate you are missing a required file. You might try rereading all your mods to make sure you have the requisites, rechacking BOSS to make sure you have the correct order, and verifying your game files on steam. Also, if the problem did not occur until after Realistic lighting, have you tried removing that mod? After that, if the problem persists, posing your BOSS log may help--someone might notice something you missed.

Im pretty sure all my mods should work with the version I have, but maybe I missed something. When I try to remove the mod it gives me that error. Georgiegril
BOSS is sorting software. If you are trying to use 70 mods, and they have not had the load order optimized, that is very likely your problem. Did you add all 70 mods at once? Load order is critical. Here is a link to a sticky thread about it on this site. There is a lot more to mod compatibility than that the run with the latest steam patch. (And of course, they only work with the steam version....) My recommendation is that you download and use BOSS. It is a simple program, not a mod. You download it to you computer, run it like a regular program. The link above takes you to the website. You will probablly ant the BOSS GUI with the installer. That is the easiest to use. When you run it, it will generate a log file. There is an option on the GUI to run that in text--pick that option. That makes it easy to cut and paste to a post if you need to. Read that text file. Address any error or warning notes, and manually place any mods that BOSS doesn't recognize. Usually it is enough to place an unrecognized mod with similar mods. Then you can try to play again. If the problem persists, you can try posting your BOSS log. You might also try uninstalling Skyrim completely using Steam Delete local content, then manually removing whatever is left, then reinstalling steam, starting a new game, no mods, no old saves. After you exit the cave at helgen, begin adding one or two mods at a time, run BOSS and play a bit to make sure it is working. Then ad a couple more. This is time consuming on the front end, but greatly increases you chance of avoiding problems in the future--and if a problem does arise, you have it narrowed down to one or two mods.
