Porting custom weapons into Fallout 4

Hello, I am a first time modder wishing to port some existing assets I've created into Fallout 4.

 

I have the models ready along with its textures, but for some reason exporting them through blender just gives me one error after another. Is there a quicker way to port assets onto the game? If not, what could be a speedy way to go about it in blender?

 

Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

As far as I know, 3DSMAX 2013 is the "easiest" way to get stuff into FO4 ...

No, the newer versions don't work because the required plugin only works for 2013 ...

No, there is no "official" way to "purchase" 3DSMAX 2013 any more .... :pirate:

 

Try to get some static objects into the game first, then move on the things like doors (simple animated objects) and then weapons ...

It is hard work but it can be really rewarding when it works!
