StuntZero
I can;t tell what the problem is, but everytime I switch my char from male to female it freezes, I have a few hair packs installed I'm thinking that might be it but I'm not sure, any ideas/help? Rabbit1251
It's the hair packs. Disable all of them, create your character, reenable them after you leave the final cave at Helgen keep and finish your character creation using ShowRaceMenu Alternative or Race Menu. StuntZero
Wasn't there some way to get them all to work with eacother? I remember doing this somehow before, just can't think of how now :\
Rabbit1251
The problem is Helgen Keep. It is not friendly to mods and the hair packs (and other cosmetic mods) overwhelm your computer when you try to run them all at once. That's when it crashes. StuntZero
Well I don't freeze in char creation anymore, but after playing for like 5 mins I just crash to desktop... I've played Skyrim before with no probs so I don't think it's my PC. Any help?

ripple
Search for 'BOSS' on Skyrim Nexus, download and install, run, copy/paste log generated (the one with the load order + messages) here and enclosed in a spoiler tag like so (without the spaces): [ s p o i l e r ]your BOSS log[ / s p o i l e r ] Repeat with the list of plugins not recognized by BOSS if one was also generated. StuntZero
Well the only BOSS thing I seen didn't have any downloads in it. Is the NMM able to do this?
