Nexus site insanely slow

Long-time user here, since January 2012.

A lot seems to have changed with Nexus.

Am I the only one who can't browse mods without insanely long periods of lag? It's not my computer, and it's not my internet. It's only this site. What gives? 15-45 seconds to load an image from a mod's images section? 10+ seconds to load pictures of all the different mods on a page? If I am lucky, I can open an image in a new tab and see a very small version of it much quicker, at least.

 

I can't even look at the mods that are available because of how slow this site is.

Is this some kind of throttling done to force people into spending money now?

As you're the only one reporting this issue, it's possible there's a connection problem between your PC and our web server, or something in your local setup.

 

Is it just images you're having issues with? Do other parts of the site take a long time to load?
