Long Distance view problems

Hi! I am having a problem seeing cities etc from a distance... for example, I only see the lights in the windows of Dragonsreach while out on the Tundra, rather than the building; and if I go up to the treasure site indicated on the WhiteRun treasure map and look at the city, I can see nothing but the farm closest to me(the one with a windmill). I have tried changing the uGridsToLoad line in my .ini file to 9, and the exterior cell buffer # to 100, but my game will not load then-- it just cycles endlessly on the load screen.

This is my skyrim.ini file--

You have installed "A Quality World Map"

You picked the "cloth Map" choice

It altered your LOD's in your texture folder.

Reinstall A Quality World Map do not pick cloth map

Proof

Data\Textures\terrian\

Temporarily remove the Terrain folder from the texture folder. Or more specifically "LOD"

You will see Dragons Reach again!

Celebrate by pushing + signs :D

BAM!!! GameFeverf you got it in one! Will this also solve the problem of just the lights appearing out on the Tundra? Also, the other big problem I've seen is WinterHelm partially appearing, adding a little at a time, as I run down the road across the river from it. Are all of these related? Gotta get back to work so I can't check it right now.

The "World Map" is funky

It uses the same LOD texture data as the actually world LOD data

-USES the same files Bethsada made it this way

All of your LOD problems are going to go away once you stop using the cloth map option.

-Make sure to use NMM to pull it.

-If you manually installed make sure you pull the LOD folder and reinstall whatever texture replacer you were using.
