Prinssinakki Posted January 30, 2013 Share Posted January 30, 2013 (edited) Hello everyone! I'm a bit of a n00b in the mod community and I need some help with the texture mod. It seems that everytime I try to install the NMC texturepackage LARGE it is missing a file. I know how to use the NMM and all other mods work just fine (weather mod, weapons mod, project nevada...). So the problem comes up when I try to install the texturepackage part 2. When I click the "activate mod" in the NMM it suggests that there has been detected a different version of the texturepack, and asks if I would like to replace the old with the now one. However, both of them are version 1.0's. Choosing yes or no leads to the same result; an error that goes like this: "The volume D:\Games\NexusModManager/NV/Mods/rar. was not found. Extraction is impossible" aaaand the mod doesn't install. Same thing happens with part 3. Part 4 does the same, but it installs the mod for about 2 minutes. Part 1 installs just peachy and apparently works, since some of the textures have changed when launching the game. The problem SHOULDN'T be about hardware, the system requirements for the LARGE pack are easily met. Help please! And thanks in advance. EDIT: Got impatient and deleted the mod and downloaded the files again and did everything to the letter but now even the NMM doesn't recognize the files. Just don't understand this. bilarion Posted January 31, 2013 Share Posted January 31, 2013 (edited) The NMC texture package comes in two parts but is actually one file, split into two .rar files. You have to install it manually. First right click to one of the rar files (whatever you want) and extract. Then just copy/paste the extracted content into your data folder. That's it!
