armour change retexture

Ok I opened a armour model in nifscope and replaced the entries for the texture data with the name of the new textures I made , diffuse and dnormal but then after saving when I load into the geck it dont recognize and finds out an error .... why ? what I have to do to fix?

The Error I keep getting is

 

Warning pop up

armor

TEXTURES: texture set missing texture textures\texture\armor\headgear\powerarmorvariation.dds for model armor\powerarmor\powerarmorvariation.nif

 

what I am supposed to do ? I even run the archive invalidation exe mod but didnt help ...

Maybe the entrie in powerarmorvariation.nif is textures\texture\armor\headgear\powerarmorvariation.dds, but you saved the texture in textures\armor\headgear\powerarmorvariation.dds

 

I'm not shure, because I just worked about 15 minutes with the G.E.C.K.

I made it work following the tutorial I bumped with a thread but now I have another problem ....

 

Hi I made a retexture of a armour but when ingame the guy that is wearing , the npc is wearing a decal on his left shoulder , how can I change that? also he has as a backpack a couple of bombers like stuff that I didnt reteture since wasnt part of the suit where I can find those?

 

talking of a power armour retexture btw ....

 

 

The power armour displays a couple of bombs on back and a decal on the left armour ... how I remove it?

 

or better how I change the decal?
