CinnamonMods
I'm trying to give a teddy bear an NCR berret and in the nifskope it looks fine but when I open it in the geck it show the teddy bear laying down and the berret just floating above it. Can someone tell me how to attach the two to each other?
madmongo
I don't think you can do that with NifSkope. The teddy bear has an armature (aka skeleton) so that it can ragdoll. If you want to add a beret to the teddy bear's head then you need to use a 3d modeling program like Blender or 3ds Max to parent the beret to the teddy bear's head bone in its armature and set the bone weights to match the teddy bear's head bone weights. Then as the teddy bear ragdolls, the beret will move with the head.

madmongo
Make sure you get this version of Blender:https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/12248 This has all of the nif tools and other add-ons you'll need, all with versions that work properly together. DO NOT use a newer version of Blender. The nif tools don't work properly, especially with rigging. Also, make sure that you follow the installation instructions exactly. If you follow all of the instructions properly, you should be able to import nifs into Blender.
