Suggest your new armor

Hello Nexus Community,

I'm new to the modding scene and have some projects in work, such as a new custom follower, retexture of a mix of armors in one (well matching colors/textures so it doesn't look awkward) and then ofcourse this: A standalone armor mod!

I'll be using 3DS Max (maybe Sculptris, too), if you're asking yourself. I am not very experienced with it, but am a fast learner.

This topic is about:

Post 1 to 3 Images of one Armor/Clothing you would like to see in Skyrim.

Rules:

- Not too lore breaking

- Not too skimpy

- Maximum Skimpiness allowed is near Vicky's Armor set (one of my favorites)

Edit to narrow down: - Only female, (don't ask me why, you know that)

Edit to narrow down: - Partially skimpy (like Vicky's armor set)

- Use Spoiler function to save space and make it easier to navigate

- it's best if you have images/screenshots from different angles. If that armor wins, I'll contact you for more images to provide, if possible

Later on, if there is enough to choose from, I'll be choosing a specific number of armors ( depending on how much is posted, between 1 and 10 ). YOU can then decide which armor you want. (Topic Poll)

For example (from Vindictus, but those can also be concept art or real life photos):

Thank you

And sorry for the mistakes, I'm from Germany, but not a german. ;D

P.S. This topic will last for more than few months since I'm near my exams, so I have to learn for them first.

If there is something I forgot or did wrong, please let me know!

New to modding, not much 3Ds experience, working on several projects at once, learning for exams and now you want to add a custom requested armor as well?

I'm not sure if it's a good idea to start a thread that shall last months - we have plenty of them where people just post random stuff, hundreds of images and nothing was ever released, you should sort out your stuff first. :D

I would love to see something like this:

putting a link because not 100% on how to do spoiler, but going to attempt to do that too.

Would love to have restoration buffs on the pieces, as well as whatever school protection spells are, I think Alteration, and see some magicka regeneration.

I don't really have a request for a "new" piece of armor, however I was wondering if you would be interested in altering the meshes of the Daedric Helmet and Curiass.

Their asymmetrical-ness has been bugging me since the game was released, and I've not seen such a mod that aims to alter them in this way before. Basically, it would be awesome if you would make the horns/ spikes on the helmet and pauldrons symmetrical. I'd be quite grateful. <3

Hmm... I would LOVE to have "Armor of the Tongues" like I described in my other thread... Basically, Thalmor Robes retextured to have the design of Greybeard Robes, but with Iron Armor replacing the boots, gauntlets, and that tunic mesh on the front of the robes. Sort of like the first one of these: http://www.keenandgraev.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/jedi-knight-armor.jpg, only with Greybeard/Iron Armor textures instead...

Oh dear, you are going to have hard time picking the ones you want to make if you "abandon" thread like this before exams

As there's about 500 pending armor requests, if people notice this thread, they are going to just slam all their ideas here.

Reminds me of a certain "If you can draw it, I can model it"- thread..

okay, thank you for your ideas.

Let's say this in other words:

Yes I am new to modding, but I am not working on multiple projects. I am working on one project until it's finished, but I have 3 planned.

Secondly, I am doing this, because 1: I want to learn modelling and modding and 2: I want to put it into my portfolio (if it's good enough, but it should be)

Side note: I worked in the past with a bit 3d modelling and am now studying graphics design.

I have now updated my post, so it's a bit more narrowed down. Thank you
