talveren
What do you all think? Which one is better? (less buggy, more friendly, more powerful) I've currently got Redecorate installed but it uses pluggy. I would like to remove that dependence from my game because I've read that pluggy has performance issues. So far though, it's been going ok but if I can remove some complexity from my modded install, it gives me room to add other stuff. ;) Is Decorator Assistant the way to go? Nephenee13
I've used Decorator Assistant, haven't had any issues with it.
Lanceor
I don't use PluggY so I can't say for certain, but I hear that performance problems were in old versions of the plugin, and that they were fixed in newer versions. If it's working fine for you then I see no need to fix it. On the other hand, to copy/paste Nephenee13, I've used Decorator Assistant, haven't had any issues with it. Legotrash
Same here. I've only used decorator assistant (along with "decorator assistant unlock") and I had no problems except only once, two swords of the same kind became...one somehow (my guess is that happened because I had them both repaired over 100. I've read that it causes bugs sometimes).
talveren
How about locking small items? I've been playing Lost Spires lately and the lock down of the posters doesn't always seem to 'take' using Redecorate. It's a little irritating to have to keep re positioning them. Locking shields to walls also seems to be an issue. Edited February 3, 2013 by talveren
Legotrash
I have the Lost Spires installed too so,in the first chance,I'll try it out and let you know. Decorator assistant works fine on shields but, probably because of their havoc or something, they get diagonal angles. You can place them nicely however without using the mod's default angles. I had a screenshot of a shield I placed in the house in Bruma. I'll upload it if I still have it.
Lanceor
I've had no issues locking items with Decorator Assistant except that they sometimes refuse to unlock (but Decorator Assistant unlock fixes that nicely.)
Legotrash
One last post to let you know that I did quick test with a poster and everything went fine. About the screenshot, unfortunately I've deleted it.
talveren
Thanks Legotrash. I'm trying decorator assistant for a while. I really want the posters to stay in place. The only purpose for those objects is to just hang there.
