rabcor
I cloned the default profile for skyrim, added a few mods into the new profile, then when I tried to switch back to the default profile, the mods I had added to the new profile got added to the default profile. E.g. changing profiles did absolutely nothing for me.Why'd this happen? is it just a bug?
AugustaCalidia
This is not a bug. All profiles share the same Mod Staging Folder and therefore have the same mods displayed. The difference lies in what mods are enabled and what mods are disabled. If you install a mod in one profile, it will be installed in all other profiles. However, it will not be enabled in those other profiles until you select those profiles and enable the mod. If do not want to have a mod page cluttered with disabled mods, you can use the "Status" filter to hide those mods. By the way, MO and MO2 work basically the same. rmm200
Also - when you change profiles, start off with a "Deploy"Make sure your new profile has the selections chosen for separate save games and data.
