TreshMek
I'm looking to do a proper Survival playthrough. However, my habit of saturating the game with mods (to the point of breaking the whole thing) would make the experience feel "empty." Any recommendations for mods to install to make the game feel new while also keeping it as vanilla as possible? I want to keep the plugin count low this time. geala
Isn't that a contradiction, "new" and "as vanilla as possible"? Do you want new visuals or new game mechanics or new quests? I play a game with big changes to damage, armor, health, world and NPCs look, etc., and I don't like the faction or main quests at all, so I'm not a specialist for advice for you. But concerning quest mods, I tried last the mods around Diary of a Madman, Depravity and Outcast and Remnants by Thuggysmurf et al. You can add Fusion City Rising and Project Valkyrie. The mods are very well made, the stories are good and they fit into he FO4 lore and world. They deal with the main story and the factions but add several ways to enjoy and approach. They fit so perfectly well that I stopped playing and removed them from my load order (I don't like the SS and the main story and can not bear it at all to be approached as searching father etc., no way). For a new experience but with vanilla connections and flair they seem ideal.

Stuff like equipment mods that keep with the overall art style of fallout, some mechanics that simply add a little to the game but don't drastically change it, etc. Tl;dr: Adds to game, but still aesthetically and mechanically the same. LucidLady
Sure I can make some suggestions for small yet noticeable changes. Glowing Creatures Emit Light -https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9239NPCs Travel -https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16987Named Legendary Enemies -https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24420SKK Random Encounter Manager -https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/42081Replace any actor with any other actor -https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/48698Highway Runner OR Highway Reclamation Project -https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/38084https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/49260 This makes it so, no matter what you've got going on, you'll see alot more NPCs and have alot more encounters, and you can really tailor the pool of NPC types you do encounter, all in a natural feeling way.
