Rottgut Posted December 21, 2008 Share Posted December 21, 2008 Here's another idea I've had lately:I've always liked using grenade launchers, and I've noticed some mods on Nexus that tried to incorporate one already. It saddens me that there isn't a new skin (mesh? Texture?) for such a gun. I'd like one to be made in the likeness of an M79 (single shot) Grenade Launcher, and special 40mm grenades for ammo. The thing doesn't need to be a "god" weapon, just something that lobs grenades a decent distance. The reload action can be taken from the sawn-off shotgun, since the M79 was a break latch weapon much like a double barrel shotgun. I already made a cheap attempt at the gun itself, got the data for it in meh GECK. As of yet it is still just a Sawn-off shotgun with the miss launcher fire effects. But I'll just be exporting the mesh as a separate model for the ammo. Unfortunately this is about as far as it's gonna get until next week sometime (gonna be away from my computer), but I'll definitely let you know when I get more done.
