Load Order (I've tried a fix before)

I need help with my load order. I fixed it once before, but after adding Weapon Mods and MMM, it crashes again. Any advice?

I moved what you said to move and it still crashes. Though FO3 Wanderers Edition - Alternate Travel.esp won't move down past RH_IronSights_PL_NewItems.esp

Maybe BOSS will fix it

You messed that load order up pretty good, I'm impressed. :wink:

 

Anyhow, first fire up BOSS and sort it, that should solve most of it.

 

Then listen to Spartan.

 

And here's what you need to do after that:

 

Only choose one of these:

FO3 Wanderers Edition - Optional Restore Tracers (automatics only).esp

FO3 Wanderers Edition - Optional Restore Tracers.esp

 

Deactivate this since you ain't got Project Beauty:

Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release + Project Beauty.esp

 

Now that you've done that, make a merged patch like this:

- Start FO3 Edit

- Load your mods

- When everything loads select all your mods, then right-click on the mod list and select Create Merged Patch

- A small window will pop up asking you to name your patch, write something and click Create

- Now when exiting FO3 Edit another window will pop up named Save Changed Files, click OK

- When starting FOMM or FO3 Launcher put your patch LAST in the load order and check it

 

And your game should work like a charm after that. :thumbsup:

 

Also, a bit of a warning, weapons modified with WMK's weapon mods don't have functioning iron sights. :no:

All of that was done. But i decided to just remove WMK (I like my iron sights) and it launched just fine now. But I was never able to add the merged file. Nexus says it can't upload that file type?

Using Nexus Mod Manager I see, get rid of it and use FOMM or you'll enter a world of game-crashing mod conflicts you have never seen before.

 

But seriously, get rid of it and get FOMM.

 

Also, you need to create the merged patch with a program called FO3Edit which you can download here.

 

And install your mods manually, you got free time to play a game so you should have 20 seconds of free time to copy/paste it in the right place. :thumbsup:

Alright, i'll get to it eventually. If I did that, though, i'd want to install a clean copy and just go from their. Any idea how to do that on steam?
