GenericZak
My old PC recently crashed for the last time, and I lost everything on the hard drive. I had backups for almost everything, but I lost my Skyrim Legendary Ed. progress and updates. My discs got me uploaded on my new rig, but Steam doesn't have the 1.9.32.0.8 update anymore. Please can someone point me to a real site that hosts the update? I've been searching for almost a week now. Thanks in advance!
Gorsha
The 1.9.32.0.8 version is the version Steam has. I has to be in your library.

I'll check it again, but I didn't see it last time. EDIT: Found it! I feel dumb now. Edited August 19, 2020 by GenericZak
GenericZak
I noticed something odd today. I got patched up but it didn't change the version number on my Launcher. It changed the TESV Launcher to 1.9.32.0.8 but not the standard launcher. I tried to update it again thru Steam but it came back the same as before. Is this a minor glitch or something more serious? Will using the TESV launcher help or hurt the game now?
Gorsha
I do not understand what you mean with TESV launcher and standard launcher. There need to be two .exe files in your game folder. One is named TESV.exe, and the other is Skyrimlauncher.exe. If you play a modded game with the SKSE script extender, then you can have a third .exe file and is is named skse_loader.exe. You have to start the first time with the Skyrim launcher to setup your performance and to create your ini settings. After that you can start with a shortcut to the SKSE loader (on desktop or mod manager).

The Skyrimlauncher still says it's version 1.3.22.0, while the TESV.exe says it's 1.9.32.0.
IsharaMeradin
The default launcher for Skyrim had no need to be updated every time the game was updated. And it has no need to update whenever Bethesda pushes new Creation Club content. Thus the launcher is at a much lower version number than the game itself.
