Drakinor1
I just recently did a completely fresh install and modded to [insane0hflex](http://www.reddit.co...ods_for_skyrim/) mod setup figuring if hes been using it for his youtube channel for so long it must be a fairly stable mod setup. Well, I am getting fairly random, time wise, ctd's but only in exterior locations (outdoors and outside cities). I cannont figue out why. I have used wrye bash, BOSS, and TES5Edit to try and ensure a stable setup. I will go ahead and link my BOSS log, skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini. BOSS Log: http://pastebin.com/SHbe9yau Skyrim.ini: http://pastebin.com/8wS5waut Skyrimprefs.ini: http://pastebin.com/mSkmV8Ch DXDiag: http://pastebin.com/b8ruzgS9 I have no idea what the issue could be. It seems not matter how I set up skyrim I have issues like this. I REALLY want to get skyrim working again (hasn't seemed to be stable for last few patches). Any help would be greatly appreciated!! EDIT: Reuploaded DXDiag since for some reason the last readout showed an incorrect processor (how the hell does that even happen??) gamefever
47.Crimson Tide - Blood.esp Activereplace with Enhanced Blood....CT-B is dated 41.Distant DetailHF.esp ActiveYou should be able to find better alternatives that do not use esp's....See it uses an ESP to force in better higher count polygons for stuff that should not be crisp anyway. 9.moonpath.esm ActiveKnown to cause issues besides are you going to go there 1st thing each paythrough no so remove it. 15.StaticMeshImprovementMod.esp Active...greatly increases the poly count of objects that your not going to spend considerable time admiring....In other words this puts strain on performance for a minamal gain....Objects it changes are common items that Bethsada loes to scatter everywhere ouch >< 16.BirdsHFclean.esp Active...Puts a lot of active AI's in the world...Beth engine really isnt that great for this, so it's up to you really, but this could be a culprit18.skyBirds - Airborne Perching Birds.esp Active....Should you have 2 of these??? 29.Cloaks.esp Active 30.Cloaks - No Imperial.esp 31.Note: Use only one cloaks*esp 32.Cloaks - Player Only.esp 33.Note: Use only one cloaks*esp For the sake of neat freakness remove the esp's you are not using obviously a tidy game folder is a better game folder. Tes5Edit Follow Gopher's cleaning guide to clean up Bethsada's messy DLC's that can cuase problems for modded games it's easy to follow and takes only 20 minutes but saves you tons in the long range.http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25859 Other than that, you have too much in high end textures because of Static mesh improvement. If problems persist after making the changes I recaamend than drop some of your scripted mods. Also after making these changes you are likely commiting yourself to a new game. I have cleaned everything according to that guide and thank you for the advice. I suppose the texture pack combiner is a bad idea as well?
gamefever
I don't use texture pack combiner so no idea.My advice is stay in the 1024 texures range keep stuff optimal for playing and enjoying the mechanics. the load order is fine really but your specs are a tad short for the high poly stuff and high textures. I'd imagine that it seems to run fine mostly, but you have trouble with loading new cells in the open world space, so you crash sometimes there. I pretty much repeated everything sorry that's why. You should be fine if you had more resources. Try ATT power loader or game booster, but yes it's advice.
