  1. I have cleaned everything according to that guide and thank you for the advice. I suppose the texture pack combiner is a bad idea as well?
  2. I just recently did a completely fresh install and modded to [insane0hflex](http://www.reddit.co...ods_for_skyrim/) mod setup figuring if hes been using it for his youtube channel for so long it must be a fairly stable mod setup. Well, I am getting fairly random, time wise, ctd's but only in exterior locations (outdoors and outside cities). I cannont figue out why. I have used wrye bash, BOSS, and TES5Edit to try and ensure a stable setup. I will go ahead and link my BOSS log, skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini. BOSS Log: http://pastebin.com/SHbe9yau Skyrim.ini: http://pastebin.com/8wS5waut Skyrimprefs.ini: http://pastebin.com/mSkmV8Ch DXDiag: http://pastebin.com/b8ruzgS9 I have no idea what the issue could be. It seems not matter how I set up skyrim I have issues like this. I REALLY want to get skyrim working again (hasn't seemed to be stable for last few patches). Any help would be greatly appreciated!! EDIT: Reuploaded DXDiag since for some reason the last readout showed an incorrect processor (how the hell does that even happen??)
  3. I am having the same issue. I guess it must be something with the BOSS servers (I have 1 recognized Skyrim.esm and 46 unrecognized including Update.esm, Dawnguard.esm and Hearthfire.esm)
  4. Probably one of the mods you downloaded the guy got in there and rotated it. If you have creation kit you can just load breezehome and rotate it back (if you know which mod is causing the issue at least) This is probably one of those go through and turn mods off and back on one by one kinda deals :P
  5. Some ENB's COMPLETELY screw night eye (nice noise, some distortion but no difference in lighting/coloring) Lucky for you I know a mod that fixes it! If you change ENB's test it because those that don't "disable" night eye will damn near blind you with this mod active. "Night Eye spell potion Tweaks for ENB and Project Reality": http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21127
  6. Man, in all honesty I am a little lost on this one too. If TWO complete reinstalls didn't fix it......I hate to say it but you may actually have to call tech support:P
  7. Ok, so it cant be mods because you have none, it doesnt sound like hardware since other games are running fine and catalyst isnt forcing settings so it must be a software issue. I hate to suggest this as I know what a pain it is but have you tried redeleting your skyrim folders completely in steam and my games to see if maybe something downloaded funny? I wish I could offer a better a solution but if you have no mods, no hardware issues, and reverifiying isnt helping thats the only thing I can think of left to try:P
  8. Its doing it after a clean install? Are you sure you deleted ALL your data and ini files? SKSE, anything, delete it ALL and reinstall it all and it should fix that kind of issue. The only reason it should be doing that is some kind of residual left from the mod and an actual clean install would clear that.
  9. That's cause when I looked at my settings it didn't tell me which exactly, just said 'HD 5400'. How much do these new ones cost? 5400 is way outdated. I got my Sapphire Radeon 6670 for $50 off newegg. I think the newest models are about 299 but you could easily upgrade what you have for under that. Check out www.newegg.com and www.tigerdirect.com for the best deals on hardware. Keep in mind though that, generally speaking, a laptop (gaming or not) will not compare to a desktop. Due to how laptops are designed, everything is confined, the wattage is lower, heat is a much bigger issue etc.
  10. Have you reinstalled any mods at all? Verified the integrity of the cache through steam just in case? It just seems very odd that a clean install would do that, I could understand if you had just uninstalled something or added a new mod etc but a fresh download? Are you forcing anything like AA or Anisotropic etc through catalyst at a different value than skyrim? That can sometimes cause...issues...Other than that I am fairly stumped. Did you compress any textures or add/remove any textures?
  11. Had a freeze in game (was casting firebolts at an impreial courier near Saarthal) and have the papyrus logs but can't make heads or tails of them. I can include BOSS logs and ini files if need be as well. Running on an AMD A6 APU at 2.6ghz Sapphire Radeon 6670 GB VRAM 8GB RAM
  12. The latest version is quite customizable. There are two versions actually, the one that adds new dragon types (similar to dragons diversified) and one that doesnt. Both versions allow you to alter health, armor, damage, resistances etc so you can leave all that at vanilla levels or raise them way up to were dragon fights are truly epic. (sure theyre kind of hard in the beginning but by level 30 you just start slaughtering dragons with very little effort) So he can alter dragons how much he wants and still get away from that annoying dragon mentallity of "HEY!! DEER!!!, EW!! GUARD!! LOOK!! BANDIT!!!" all while your hitting it with spell, sword and bow....
  13. If you think its a missing file try reverifying with steam as that will recover lost files (possible from a mod killing it?) This would be the easiest fix (and easiest is always best if it works!) Normally I would say try it on a different character but thats a lot of work to simply test a bug. Do you have any other mods that effect werewolves?
  14. Ok so I have a couple of possible fixes (no guarantees on anything lol) 1. Texture Pack Combiner: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20801 This nifty little tool takes the 3 best texture packs (and tons of optionals that I highly recommend) and combines them for you so you get the best from each mod without lots of overwrites, that could possibly fix the issues your having texture wise. 2. Skyrim Flora Overhaul: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/141 I think this one may be in the combiner (not 100% sure) but if its just plants this one may help 3. Lush Trees: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3385 This one should fix the tree textures 4. If all else fails, delete the data folder, reverify through steam (this will redownload all the orginal files and kill the residual changes) and reinstall the mods you do want As for the ENB, try the 0.119 version as it should fix the water issues. Also see if you have green water fix installed (for some reason, for me at least, nmm said it uninstalled but left it active) if it is there get rid of it because its causing the issue, if its not, get it and it will fix the issue. Here is the link: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/14007 Also check out Guide to ENB Series mods: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/8005 That will help you get the ENBseries.ini set up for maximum performance, explain what each ini tweak does so you can customize and hopefully help you figure out future ENB problems. Lastly, if your on an ATI card (as I am) you may have a few minor hiccups with ENB's. Borris has fixed most of the ATI problems in the last few versions though.
  15. What mods do you have? Also stay away from those prostitutes! Sorry, I couldn't help it. My guess is that a mod is doing it.
