artiedee
Can we have a system for Skyrim that makes every item being able to degrade and be repaired or destroyed afterwards? I find that would be really immersive and would make crafting even a more dynamic and viable skill. Players will start looking for new armours and weapons because the old ones could not pass the test of time. Please.
SilverNirvash
this request has been made numerous times already and if im NOT mistaken someone had in fact made a very very very early alpha of it but couldn't quite work out all the kinks properly. i don't honestly think its possible to make TRUE durability but there is BU (break undies) type armors that break as you fight based on your health as a alternative until they DO find ways of accomplishing true armor durability. us11csalyer
Durability... One thing I miss and why in the hell did they not carry this idea over from FO series.......... Its like everything in Skyrim was made by some crazy retarded dworlfs that don't know the word break.
coldreactive
You can make a weapon have a "Charge" if not enchanted. When it runs out, it becomes useless / scrap. But that's just an idea for a real modder to implement. (It's also technically "Hacking" in the feature, since it wouldn't work too well on armors.) nightinglae850
Because most swords in real life don't break after 50 hits, durability is annoying to a lot of people which is why they didn't include it, thats my guess.
coldreactive
And also why most new free to play MMORPGs don't do it anymore.
893kira
I don't know but i like this idea. Chesko the one who created Frostfall added this in Wood Axe and Tents. Also weapons do dull and armor can be damage. Especially with crossbows. It will be cool if some modders able to do it except from other special items like Daedric artifact doesn't lose durability except its enchantment. Also with Daedra, Dwemer and Dragon armor and weapons cannot be affected by durability.
