Limitations with modding Wild Wasteland?

One of my dream mods to make is an overhaul of the Wild Wasteland trait to include more fourth wall breaks, cultural references, memes, etc. But idk what would actually work with the trait. I was planning on adding a new radio station, new challenges, new unmarked quests, new companions, etc. I guess my question is there anything that would not work since everything included would only appear with the trait activated?

Radioactivelad is absolutely right.

 

I suggest you right click on the perk in your object window and click "Use Info". From here you can find examples of where the perk is used in vanilla. Mostly it's trigger boxes and conditions in dialogue.

 

Just include a Player.HasPerk check in whatever scripts or conditions you set up for your own content.
