No main menu or cursor at start

Not getting a cursor or the main menu when launching the game. Need some help figuring how to fix it. Here is my Load order made using BOSS.

Missing main menu is almost always an out-of-date compatibility patch with an orphaned record. A form referenced by the plugin is either no longer present in its master or has been repurposed to a different formtype. Start disabling patches and you should find it quickly.

A good way to check for a missing master is to just load up your entire mod list in FNVEdit. If that's ok, then start disabling plugins.

Expanding a bit on what blove said, disable your merged patch first when troubleshooting startup ctd/hangs. If the game loads, then start looking at the masters of the merged patch. The game engine is pretty lax about certain errors in esp files, but as soon as they become masters of another file then invalid script conditions and unresolved references in the mastered esp can cause it to crash or hang. Unresolved references can be caused by out of date patches.

Problems can also occur if you didn't create a new merged patch after you added/removed/updated or changed the load order of your mod list.
