If you need someone to rig your helmets I have learned to rig, I'm still new at it but I can rig a helmet without too much difficulty.

Thankyou , I think I know how to rig too a head the problem is more for rigging the body , but befoure I model it I would like to know what I should take care of or pay attention to and most important how the dismembered stuff work , should it be modelled or not etc?

The best thing is to look at one of the original armors and how its dismemberment works, if you could make it with dismemberment and the pip boy arm mechanics working it would be really awesome.

There is no real problem with dismemberment its just more complicated to rig.

 

With dismemberment the armor has a few separate parts for the legs, arms and head. For power armor it usually separates at the joints. There is also a pip boy on and off arm part, I believe there are two separate bones so you rig the normal arm to one and the pipboy version to the other.

 

I haven't done any armor modeling so I'm not entirely sure. I would import an armor into your 3d program and take a look at what parts are rigged to which bones.
