girls4me2
Recently I started replaying New Vegas and I noticed certain lights seemed overexposed as I got closer to them. It didn't seem to bother me at first but then I started playing Old World Blues and with all the scifi lighting going on I am unable to ignore the problem. I know the lights were not this blown out when I played through the first few times. Changing specularity didn't change anything. It seems to involve HDR because turning it off removes the problem but it ruins the appeal of the rest of the surroundings. Is there a way to reduce the effect of the HDR on the lighting without completely turning it off? The Overexposure seems to also happen to things like the nuka cola bottles. They're fine from a distance but when I get close I can no longer see a bottle, all I see is light. The attachments show how bright it can get even at a distance and getting too close results in horrible blurred brightness. Please help. Also if I failed to search to search for the proper term for this problem please correct me because I could not a thing.
jedijas
I would try going to steam library -> Right click Fallout:NV -> properties -> content -> Verify steam cache But, I'm not sure if that's the problem here, Looks to me like a faulty mod that affects lighting, try disabling any mods that might affect lighting in the game, or removing them completely
