another idea: a dwemer portal to other planes, like the oblivion planes and daedric cities

Not really likely, because the dwemer mocked the other races for their worship of the daedra and instead worshiped Julianos.

so i was thinking about this semi-DLC mod, and ive got a glimpse:why not make a questline that leads into the dwemer world? like while adventuring blackreach you discover some traces of living dwemer or somenthing, and starts a investigation about it? then when the player is already at the end of the questline he discover a dwemer city still working

the questline would explore every biome or scenario proposed

You know that's a great idea! My original idea was an elevator down to the mantle and there it is, but this quest idea is fantastic!

know what? lets talk with the guys from bethesda and other great modders, if we are going to do this,we need the best modding team of the internet!

someone e-mail them and show our topic here!

so i was thinking about a storyline and got this: the player talk with the bookmaster in the college of winterhold, and he will tell you about blackreach and some ancient tomes that lies there, in blackreach there is a small house full of dwemer stuff, the house also has the ancient falmer tomes that the bookmaster wants(this is a misc quest), when he translate the tomes, he discover signs of another dwemer city below blackreach, that was a secret place, a hideout.

the player start investigatin all of this with the dwemer expert in markath, the dwemer expert says about a unexplored dwemer ruin, the player go to that ruin(another common dwemer ruin without any falmer and some dead dwemer corpses in the middle of the dungeon), in the end there is a dwemer almost dying and a bunch of dead falmer in the ground, you talk with the dwemer, and his last words are only "vrozalbur", and there is a journal in the body, you read it and discover that those dwemer in the ruin where trying to find some dwemer arctifact that shows the location of the secret elevator that leads the player to below blackreach...

thats what ive got by now, give your opinions and ideas for the storyline

So there is a dwemer remaining alive still, I found reading up on my Elder Scrolls lore. He contracted vampirism before all of the dwemer race disappeared, and brought almost 100 of those left to somewhere in Valenwood. He was possibly looking for a cure for his vampirism and for some of the other followers of his. Maybe he could be visiting Skyrim to be blessed by the Vigilants of Stendarr and possibly be cured of his vampiric ways?

i got more ideas for the history: after seeing the dead dwemer's journal, the player discover that the artifact is in a nordic barrow called "vrozalbur" or somenthing, the player head to the barrow, fight his way trough and get the artifact, it shows the location of a hidden tunnel in blackreach, when the player get to the tunnel, he discover a stairwell that leeds to the fireland, the huge place with a lava sea and islands connected by pure ebony bridges(the fire lands also contains the coreforge and the great chaurus hive), after fighting the twisted machines(dwemer animunculi made of ebony and come from the lava), the player get to the entry, another elevator leading to the dwemer hideout(the bookmaster from the begginig become your companion, to register the adventure.

in the hideout, a dwemer guard will speak with you from the gates, and to enter in the city you have to defeat a bunch of falmers that are sieging the city, after that, the player may enter the city, the bookmaster of the college stay in the city library, full of lexicons, after that, the main questline is finished.

about the coreforge and the hive(if there is a hive)i didnt though anything for quests, but i am thinking about the forgemaster and the corestone set(about that: the mining complex in the fire lands has a special material that can only be extracted with an special picaxe, the core stone, its used to make the core stone armor and weapons), i am doing some drawings but its not perfect.

leave you opinions and ideas please!

I think this idea could potentially be the best mission / exploration based idea yet!

Imagine after exploring black reach and all its nooks, crannies and holes you come across a previously undiscovered and long ago forgotten door/elevator that leads under neath the existing structures. My idea for this place would be somewhere already inside the Halls of Ramuation on the lower level there is a previously uncleared (blocked) ramp that would lead down the area which is where the giant ball of light is that summons the dragon in black reach it also leads up to the High Chair / thrown that looks over the glowing orb. You walk into this door and almost immediately have steps that lead down to swim down through water then back up. The Dwemer knew it was going to flood the run off from the mountains alone could fill the valley below, and when it rains the highlands turn to swamp. You proceed up the step and notice its strange going up steps when you already went down so far just then you come to the top of the steps with a small dripping pipe leading in further. Steam hisses whining in the pipe, gears clank and you realize you are smack dab in a gigantic cavern you cast a mage light trying to find walls there's nothing much but rock face you cast one down and wait nothing but black nothing but down. A voice inside your dova mind says "okay so don't fall off the path, maybe dont look down either... wish I could fly" casting a few mage lights more you find a path not really twisting but not paved. The Dwemer dug deep they always dig deep looking, searching trying to find something. What are they always looking for inside the earth? The heart of the mountain? an ancient past ancient even to them selves. So many question left unanswered for so long and its time, its time to find answers onward, inward, downward into the depths into the blackness.

Finally after what seems like hours walking in the pitch ere black the only sound is clanking pipes, steam hissing and drips of water here and there echoing, echoing in the vast cavern below. You come to an end of the walk way theres nothing on the other side mage light revels no ledge no adjacent path just a rounded platform and down into another seemingly bottomless pit. Its the the first time you have seen a bottomless pit and you are Dova. You know no fear.

This idea has more potential the more I come here. This is great! Perhaps the Library I mentioned on the first post could have a new Black Book that leads to Apocrypha?

sure thing, bro!

if we are including dragonborn DLC in it, here it is the special picaxe idea: the stalhrim picaxe, the only thing that can break the corestone, it is not craftable and there is only ONE in all nirn!

about the core-forgemaster, i thoug about it, i think it should be somenthing disturbing, like a zombie like dwemer ebony-made centurion inspired in the nemesis(resident evil)

and the corestone set, it could be a mixture of the stalhrim, nordic carved and dwemer armor structure, with some ebony details and cracks showing some lava carved in stone...

dunno

already made the corestone armor drawings, they are extremely shity, and still dont have crakcs on it(i just made the breastplate, the gauntlets and the boots, the boots already have some cracks).

the helmet could be somenthing like kohnarik, plus a dwemer helmet.

i will upload a scan tomorrow
