Weapon and Armor Mods not Working

Firstly, I don't have skryim through steam if that has anything to do with it.

I install all my mods using Nexus, obviously. All my other mods are fully functional, but any time I try to load a weapon or armor mod, I cant find any trace of said weapons or armor in the game. Can't craft them, can't buy them, no trace of them.

They aren't working.

Any idea what's going on here? Help would be much appreciated.

:/ Im not using a pirated game, and Ive had mods like these working before, but after recently picking up the game again they're not working.

Most new mods with an .esp don't work with an old version.
