Darkhad
So I downloaded the nexus mod manager the other day and suddenly I can no longer hear what the npc's have to say. I haven't downloaded any mods yet because of this issue. My comp specs are I5-3570k, 660ti video card, 16gb ram, and 150gb os drive, with 1tb storage drive, 64bit. Was wondering if anyone else had this issue or If it's something new. Thanks in advance. When I validate the files on Steam it says "1 file failed to validate." Then if supposedly fixes the problem. But since I don't know what it's actually doing, I have no idea wether it does or not.
jedijas
There tends to be at least one file that fails to validate, so I wouldn't worry about that too much. In terms of your actual problem, are you running NVSE? Have you done an archive invalidation? Are you running the latest version of FOMM? Are you running the latest version of Fallout:NV? Try running Fallout:NV normally without FOMM and see if this problem still occurs.

How would I go about checking that? NV works just fine without the Nexus Mod Manager
