Arcadiast
simple, playing vanilla game after modded game is like eating bread without butter (or marmelade or cheese or whatever suits your tastes)
AnimeOtaku102
A fourth copy? One for the PC, two for the Xbox, and the last one for...? You should have just paid a friend $60 to stand behind you with a nerf bat and apply some negative reinforcement whenever you fired up Nexus or NMM instead  That being said, good luck with your vanilla run. jack013
the more important thing, than a well modded game, is to keep the novelty value high. you should just grab a few mods, run them haphazardly through tes5edit and then play-through. then pick a different rp and grab a different couple of mods, play through different stuff. just make sure to archive any loose scripts before installing them.simples. i remember spending about 2 hours considering which vamp mod was best, a bit after dg, only too realise i wasn't intending to play as a vampire.. on a similar note of novelty>best-game, i wish people who made useless follower mods would add their voices too them. even with just generic lines. don't waste money on an xbox game, millions of people are starving at this very moment. imperium999
A fourth copy? One for the PC, two for the Xbox, and the last one for...? In a truly derp moment, I bought a second copy for my laptop, not realizing I could just install Skyrim on it and use the same Steam account. So now I actually have two Steam accounts.
imperium999
Maybe I should also have explained that I never finished Oblivion, FO3 or FONV for the exact same reason: The Nexus (yes, it's all THEIR fault  ). I'd like to actually finish one of these games one of these days...
jack013
this is probably a bad case of you don't like gaming -or rp's- but your bored as f*** and don't realise.
AnkhAscendant
this is probably a bad case of you don't like gaming -or rp's- but your bored as f*** and don't realise. Not necessarily... I love the Elder Scrolls series and RPs are the only kind of game I really like, but I've never finished the main quest of any of them... I tend to get about 2/3 of the way through and just never go on. Mostly I feel like I'm rushing things too much and I don't want it to be over, or I get distracted with modding and... well, just modding. Hundreds of hours of modding. x_x Maybe people who go through the main quest multiple times are just powergamers who don't appreciate it properly :P

You might be right about the gaming thing... The titles mentioned above are the only games I really ever play... However, I actually blame the whole RP thing for the reason I'm addicted to modding the game in the first place...
jack013
you could always mod your way through the mq instead.
Xaikarik
I'm playing vanilla on my first play through just to play as bethesda intended it to just to have a glitch free time :) Though I do intend to play it through again with mods :)
