  1. Is it relatively easy to install
  2. I'm relatively new to this modding but I'm wondering if someone can help I'm looking for a mod that will add more trees grass and flowers to my game but won't kill my performance, I'm able to run the vanilla game with dlc on ultra and play comfortably with no lag Anyone know of a mod and how to install it
  3. I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but I'm looking for a mod that adds more trees and grass flowers etc without killing performance to bad, I'm running Skyrim vanilla with dlc on ultra and it's runs perfect I'm new to mods so please be gentle :)
  4. Try copying and pasting them from the skyrim folder into your pictures folder, that worked for me
  5. Cool thanks for that, I remember hearing that some games on steam if you cheat it locks the achievements, wasn't sure if it was the same rule for mods
  6. If I'm using mods can I still haz achievements?
  7. Hey guys, just starting a new game as steam hasn't recognised any of my achievements -_- though while I'm at it I want to finally try a few mods, just a few things to make it a bit more imersive :) So here's the kind of things I want More encounters mainly bandits and stuff to go with my role play. A travel system between towns kinda like the one from city to city but in real time if possible Generally things that'll improve the immersion rather than graphic bumps, however all suggestions welcomed :)
  8. Im with tails on this, if you want multiplayer go join tes online :)
  9. By all accounts after doing a bit of research I may need it later to get a dragon shout can anyone confirm this? Also thank you for the responses :)
  10. Hey guys, I'm just sorting out my inventory and noticed I still have the elderscroll dragon, where do I get rid of it as its annoying me :) Just trying to get all my side quests done and wanted to know :)
  11. I've seen the Khajiit Caravans sell dolls. Cheers!
  12. This reminds me, where do I buy a doll for my girl?
  13. It'll only save your vanilla skyrim as the mods are seperate, for the record I play vanilla and its all good :)
  14. So I finally got my smithing skill to 100 and made my dragonscale armor right away, improved it to legendary aswell as my dragonscale sheild and finally upgraded dawnbreaker to flawless, bearing in mind none of my armour is enchanted I just killed a giant a 3 mammoths without even having to heal, I'm not complaining as its made my life easier but seriously that is an epic jump in power considering I'm level 31, do I really need to be that hardcore?
  15. I get what you mean the second I walk into a tomb and see that architecture I sigh to myself ... Here we go again, if you have dawnguard read the atherium wars, leads on to some quests that are set in dwemer ruins really cool actually was like taking a holiday :)
  16. I've just completed "touch the sky" and loved the boss fight, literally about to do the final quest and finish it. Sorry about posting it but my girlfriend doesn't really speak gamer, Ahh excited much :)
  17. Serious dude, build a computer, you can do it for relatively cheap and it'll out live a laptop. I was in your situation and wanted a laptop but honestly unless its a dedicated gfx your wasting your time, I understand it sucks to hear this but stick with a computer opposed to laptop, you won't regret it
  18. I had a hard drive and OS ready, mine cost me 300 pounds :D and ultra with a few beautiful mods
  19. The base stats is 100 for health magic and stamina, each time you level one it adds 10 so you could just deduct it, obviously be sure to account for adds from enchanted equipment
  20. I understand why people compare everything to wow, I do a lot of the time too, but eso will be somethin far more superior :)
  21. Makes you wonder where he keeps his post he delivers ... Wash you hands after reading
  22. You get grab some encounter mods so better leveled characters randomly attack you, deadly dragons if your sick of the girly lizards your fighting now and I believe there's a carridge mod that'll take you to places other than major cities
  23. Personally when I was playing on my recently deceased crappy laptop I tried everything to get a better fps, I found that disabling all shadows to 0 helped a lot and even specular, one thing that really helped me was finding a mod to lower the quality of the distant mountains. This is my own opinion and don't hate me for it because I've been there but I can't understand trying to beef up your skyrim with mods if your computer can't handle it, I've always been that taker that prefers smooth game play to amazing graphics (with in reason) so this is my advice. I'd ditch the mods in all honestly, I know a lot of people want to get the most out of their game but why not play through vanilla first get a feel for the game and eventually upgrade your rig to handle these mods, you'll know what you want after playing it standard plus it becomes a whole new game after that :) I've seen so many people not enjoying the actual game due to constantly restarting or wasting a few months at a time searching for preferred mods. Play it through vanilla and take note of what you want to change and search accordingly. I recently built a new machine under 300 pounds and played through vanilla once and my god it was worth the wait, hate me if you want but I think it'd make more sense to enjoy the game first, then upgrade and then blow it open with mods
  24. Ha that quest is awesome :) especially the hag raven part lol
