Benjamon14
Hey guys, this is my first ever post on Nexus Mods and the reason as to why I posted on here is because I am going to create a almost DLC like expansion to Fallout New Vegas which will literally be Fallout 1 ported onto the New Vegas engine. Almost everything will be identical from locations, people, weapons, traits to creatures, traits and perks so it feels almost like Fallout 1 was made recently. The depth I want to pour into this game will be huge. I'm not sure if it's possible but even gathering the sound files from Fallout 1 and using the actual dialogue from the original (I don't know if this is legal due to copyright.) I am posting here to see if people are interested in this. I would devote a lot of time to this and would only be enhanced if I could have support from others in the community, giving me advice and tips on what I should be doing and how I can improve the mod. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Benjamon14
Thank you very much for this link. I've read it and now understand some basic things I can and can't do. However, what if the mod I was to make was entirely generated by myself but contained all the elements from Fallout? As in I don't use the sound files and/or anything physically from Fallout 1 but use the story and content within the game to make my mod? pwinkle
You know that Arcoola and Sesom are already doing this?http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/48095If you're serious about wanting to give this a go I'm sure they'd appreciate some help, even if you were only able/willing to do one thing; it'd be one thing less for them to do.
