Managing One game while others use another mod manager

I just finally installed Skyrim SSE, and wanted to use Vortex to manage it, how can i just manage that game and not my others. I will get other games (Fallout 4, Oldrim) in later when i finish characters. I just don't want Vortex to automatically sort the load order of my other games, too many mods in them when I move them to vortex I am going to reinstall them to start fresh.

Vortex won't manage any of your games until you specifically choose to Manage them from the Games page.

If you only choose to manage the one game (Skyrim Special Edition in your case) from the Games page, then Vortex will not manage any of the other games it discovers on your PC, until you specifically hit Manage for them in the Games page.

Vortex doesn't automatically start managing your installed games. You have to manually select a game for Vortex management. If you want Vortex to manage Skyrim SE only and not any of your other games, then select only Skyrim SE for management. Vortex will ignore all your other games.

Edit: @agc93 you beat me to the punch while I was preparing my response to OP. Great minds and all that!

Remember - load order is specific to a Vortex profile for a game. If you have never set up a profile for that game - it is invisible to Vortex.

If you tell Vortex to manage that game, you get a "Default" profile which does have an associated load order.

Most important though - never have Vortex manage a game and have some other manager like NMM "add a few mods" to it. That way everyone loses.
