Skyrim Complete Checklist of Quest?

Skyrim Complete was a mod posted for Skyrim LE a few years ago. At some point it was pulled from the Nexus. I do not know the reason why. It could be that someone converted and uploaded a version that they had on hand and subsequently removed for some reason. I cannot say with any certainty.

I'm not so sure that is new. I think I had such a mod installed a couple months ago, but unless it's poorly named I can't find it now in my mod list, not even disabled or uninstalled. I spent a minute trying site searches and was unsuccessful. I wouldn't have removed such a mod unless it was causing problems, as I crave in-game information.

Yeah...I saw this mod...but I did not DL it. I'd rather just come along and find quests as I find them, rather than see what's next, etc.

You did not see what was next with SkyComplete. It was just an MCM checklist that would automatically mark off most quests as they were completed. Though some would have to be marked manually (i.e. repeatable quests and favor jobs).

It seems to me that the correct way to handle this issue to is have a mod that actively scans the entire modded game, either at startup or triggered via MCM menu, to look for quests and build a database of them. This could then be saved to an external file so that it can be automatically loaded at start and skip the necessity of scanning unless the content of the game changes. The database would be used to populate the MCM menu.

This process would future-proof it and make it automagically compatible with any quest mod, similar to the goal of YeOlde Crafting Bag with its recipe scanning or the SKSE Address Library plugin.
