Zorkaz
Does anyone know a better function than "Equip Item"? Because it doesn't seem to work with my NPC, to force him to wear sunglasses. Btw. even adding the item to the Default Outfit doesn't work.
Blinxys
Not enough information to form a hypothesis... Is the biped slot clear? Not some hat, or headband, facemask, "other item" in the way or taking up the slot already?Only ever seen "Equip Item" used, even in "far off the road most traveled" mods. Zorkaz
Spoiler Alert: It's Preston and Sunglasses. He gets it in his inventory but refuses to equip it.Even .equipitem(PrestonDefaultOutfit) with his glasses added won't work.
Blinxys
Hmm... Gonna guess it's not a loose item override. Both sunglasses and default outfit modification are in/from BA2 and not getting priority over default/default.Does it work in console? Might see something there... Might not be the right Preston in-game.
Zorkaz
He's the right Preston, He even has them in his inventory. Guess it only works on the player
robotized
It works if you add the glasses to PrestonGarveyOutfit [OTFT:0001F158]. But I'm guessing you have to enable the override with edited outfit before you exit the vault, or maybe from the very beginning. I'm not completely sure, haven't tested that. What I have tested, is using the console command "recycleactor" on Preston. That did the trick.
Zorkaz
I already did what you described here but it didn't help either. Maybe it has something to do with the workshopactorscript
Blinxys
Stand Corrected AAF uses :unEquip bipedSlot="Eyes"reEquip bipedSlot="Eyes"Generally by name over index/slotalong with the inexplicable:removeEquipment form=######that does not have a corollary listed... Think those are native to the plugin though, and only apply to existing worn items. Only question remaining:Are you equiping the index or the slot?Slot=index # -30index:17 slot: 47 Eyes Otherwise, yeah... had a matswap on a book/mag that wouldn't take until: new game. That's all she wrote. o_O
