dallingtonp
Spent an hour looking, could not find anything on the subject. Is there a way to reduce enemy accuracy with ranged attacks? Granted if you're moving around and bunny hopping, they sometimes miss, but if you're standing still, they hit you dead on every time at any range. Much like the bad asses in action movies who just stand there and laugh as projectiles whizz by, I think it'd be fun if the AI could actually miss a shot. I know some people have scripted this sort of thing in fallout, perhaps they could do the same for skyrim.
genji81
There IS a setting that makes the AI less accurate. I have been searching but I can not find it anymore but my old install had it tweaked and it made playing with increased combat damage mods much less annoying by nerfing the 1 hit kill AI snipers. does anyone know the command? GrimyBunyip
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33395/ Look for AI Aim Offset in the NPC page. it's a GMST so if you edit it with a console command, it will reset next time you reload your save.
MonkerzX
I don't think they're that accurate unless they're really close. I was idling and a female guard hit me like every 5th attack.

LOL50015
If that's the case, you should install a mod that let's you miss them too. They are accurate because unlike a gun or crossbow which any normal people can just grab and start shooting, a bow needs lots of practice before you are able to use it. Due to its difficulty, people who prefer bows as their primary weapon are mostly skilled, thus the reason they don't miss frequently.
