Can the above be done? Is it possible to select part of a cell and auto generate navmesh for just that part leaving any existing navmesh alone?

I've been asked to add navmesh for NPCs to some of my patches of player homes, and in some cases that means adding navmesh to a cell that already has navmesh but not in the area under consideration. I'd like not to alter existing navmesh. So far I've been doing it all by hand, which is ok, but auto generate would be cool if it were possible.

If i remember correctly you need to :

- Select all the meshes that you need to add NavMesh, and with all the meshes selected just run the auto generate.

But i would strongly recommend to do it by hand, since the auto generated is a so horrible created system, plus it will not connect it to your already existing NavMesh.

Perhaps I'm being slow but this is regarding part of a cell that has no navmeshes so there is nothing to select?

I just read:

"adding navmesh to a cell that already has navmesh but not in the area under consideration"

In this case you need to select those meshes (that don't have NavMesh) so that the auto generate won't affect the already existing NavMesh.

I've clearly been ambiguous in my original question so I'll restate it:)

There is a cell, half of it has navmesh, the other half, well less so!

I want to select the half that doesn't have any navmesh and autogenerate navmesh in that half, but not change the existing navmesh in the other half of the cell. I think this is not possible since I can't find a way to 'select' the half with no navmesh, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
