dizietemblesssma
Now that I find myself learning basic navmeshing, I need to check regarding the above that now pops up in xedit when I look at a plugin. In the past when I've just added a trigger box plus scripts I've had this form (00012FB4) appear; and since i was doing nothing with navmesh, I would delete it in xedit. I figured I accidentally clicked on something. Now I get this form everytime I add some navmesh, everywhere I google seems to say that this is a) normal, b) nothing to worry about, d) what happened to c? and c) ah, there it is! But there is still some ambiguity in my googling regarding multiple plugins having this form; in the beginning... there were snacks,no I mean, sorry; I just removed from the form everything that wasn't related to the navmesh I had just created, this seemed logical. But then I remembered I was using a computer, so I shouldn't really trust what seemed logical! Further reading suggests that the game engine combines all the forms with id 00012FB4 in a slightly different manner to ordinary conflicts, which might explain why in xedit, the form shows up in my plugin with references to lots of exterior locations tnat have nothing to do with my plugin, but also do not list as conflicts with anything. So to be clear, should I leave all those references to locations that have nothing to do with my plugin in the info map? Does it hurt to 'clean' it up as I have been doing? I once had a report that a patch of mine was causing problems with texgen (this was ages ago), could this be the presence of a navigation navmesh info map when there is no navmesh? diziet
