Jauxer
So with the release of Dragonborn I decided to re-install Skyrim again and start downloading necessary mods. But...I encountered a problem with the new d3d9.dll(v121212) and then apparently every d3d9 version. The new and updated d3d9.dll's seem unstable on my system, simply installing the dll alone will drop my fps down to 5 both in menu and in-game, regardless of having an ENB installed. Even the injector versions produce the same issue. I don't have the slightest clue what may cause this problem as I have never before had any issues with the ENB series or anything Boris has put out for us. Even older versions that used to work flawlessly (2 months ago) are now acting up and gives me unplayable fps's. Removing the dll solves the FPS drop, but no ENB = Emocutwrist. What is going on here? -System info-GPU: GTX 660, DCU2-OC 2 GBCPU: Phenom II x4, 965 black edition 3.6GHZRAM: 2x4GB Corsair XMS3 Vengeance, 1600MHZ. -What I've tried so far-Re-installing skyrimUpdating graphic driversDisable all modsSmashed the keyboard onceTried 5 different versions of the d3d9.dllYelled at my catrestarted the computerre-installed skyrim again.Came on here for assistance.. It's easy to forget to make your tweaks after reinstalling. Also, .121212 is pretty outdated now. I believe it's up to .149. Check the enb dev page. Jauxer
For some unapparent reason today when I started skyrim it's working flawlessly again. Still don't know what caused the problems yesterday/earlier but it's sorted now.
