KayleeMarie
So, if I wanted to make a helmet armor that essentially removes your head (because you can't see your head under it....sort of like the guard helmets that you cant see through) how would I do that? In nifskope I thought I had it so it would just replace the head but when I use the helmet in game, my body disappears and I'm a floating head lol How would I make it so that I am that helmet AND a body? :P
Deleted1308005User
Could you point me which helmet you are using? As you need to edit the helmet in CK to use Head slot, AND the slot that the headgear uses by default. For example, I want to make circlet that makes my head invisible.I go into CK, edit the armor addon called circletX, edit it so that it uses both, HEAD and circlet slot. Done. However, if you still want to use circlet with the helmet, you need to slightly alter the mesh itself, so it uses actually head slot and not circlet slot.( http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/576983-tutorial-assign-meshes-to-new-body-parts/ ) Good info related on that. Anyway, I'd like to hear more specifics on what you want to do so I could explain it better.
KayleeMarie
It happens to be a head that I want to use as a helmet from a full body piece, but I think you may have just solved what I think was the issue, I'll get back to you in a moment... gonna check it out in the CK
KayleeMarie
Well, it solved it in a sense lol The body shows up if the body has a skin under it, otherwise it's invisible :P either way I've realised the head is too skinny for it to work outside of the original body it came with and I don't have blender to mess with the neck part or anything :P oh well thanks for helping
Deleted1308005User
Aye, no problem, happy to help people with issues. Even if I am still a bit confused now  Anyway, if you were able to "fix" the issue or notice it might not work as intended (and you are okay with it), I'm happy
