DLC Dragonborn [WETriggerScript] Error message

Hello guys

 

I;m getting en error message after spawning at the dock of Solsteim (the first time), then my character is frozen (the game still work) only my character is frozen, and the boat (around me, the one i came on) is not showing...

The error messae is about getting a faction return of -1 "MyHoldFaction" and is expecting 1 or 2

 

Sadly i'm unable to play the dlc, anybody can help with this ?

This is the first time I have heard of that error on a DLC. we saw it a lot at one time in the main game. Here is the fix from before. Let us know if it is the same thing this time.

Wait a tic....I think that the issue they are having is with the Skyrim DLC, Dragonborn. Not Oblivion. The link you posted is for Oblivion? Am I missing something here?

 

I've got a topic on this very issue and it is really aggravating that this bug is keeping us from playing.

Yeah that's a no go with my issue as well, which is the exact same issue that reaper9111 is having....I found a workaround but it's messy and should gameplay should be this way....

This happen to me too, but when I move my mouse the boat also moves(like it is my character or whatever) and then I am always getting this error message but I can walk.

 

This happen when I got Hearthfire or Dawnguard? I hope someone know the cause of this

If you are still experiencing this issue after you do any of the following:

• Change Load order via NMM
• Check/Un-Check an .esp/.esm via NMM
• Add/Remove a mod with a plugin (.esm/esp) via NMM

Nexus Mod Manager my be corrupting a file called "plugins.txt" by adding additional entries to it like "syrim.esm," and "Skyrim.esm." The file is located here: C:\Users\"user name"\AppData\Local\Skyrim (hidden file/folder). Keep in mind it will re-corrupt this file every time you make one of the changes listed above with NMM.
