dfac364 Posted February 7, 2013 Share Posted February 7, 2013 tthis is a problem ive tried to fix on my own repeatedly but it cant figure it out, i made a new sword that has a linen wrap on the the handle the problem is that the fabric shines like the blade, ive tried tweaking the specularity and glossiness in the NIF but it doesnt help, id really appreciate any advice Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
FavoredSoul Posted February 8, 2013 Share Posted February 8, 2013 You need to make adjustments to the specular map in the Normal Map's Alpha Channel (the cloth part should be almost pitch black). If the weapon is using the Environment Map Shader setting, make the same adjustment to the Environment Mask texture. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
