Blackoutpt
Hello all.I want to report some problems I've been having since the last update, this is previous to using dragonborn. The main problem was first detected after I attempt to use Bag of holding by JustinOther after a fight. I pressed the quick key button but the bag didn't open, only played the sound of equipping something. I reloaded to a previous save and retried the fight again, and again, until fifth attempt the back remained functional after the figth. This occurred right after I've applied the latest update. After this I got this problem randomly after some battles or after passing some areas. I could still use the bag via console, but with the normal process it was impossible. After a few days of simply trying to avoid the "glitched" areas/fights I decided to start using Frostfall addon. This was also before the release of "Dragonborn". When I have the glitch with the bag of holding I'm also unable to perform most of the activities tied to frostfall, like build camp fire (select it from the survival skills menu and nothing happens), view status, build tents and so on. My attempts to solve the problem have been:Disable SkyUI/reinstall itReinstall SKSEReinstall the latest patch With no positive resultMy final atempt might be reinstall the gameplease note that these were all tried before the release of Dragonborn DLC active: Dawnguard

Indeed, right after I made the update started using convinient horses and convenient horses herding. Right now I'm using convinient horses, convenient horses herding, frostfall, UFO (ultimate followers overhaul), build your own home, horse whistle, vilja in skyrim, cerwien. Is there a way to check causing this?

Is there a way to check causing this?Generally you can only have so many script-intensive mods running at once before they start to cause issues, no matter how powerful your computer is. The game engine just doesn't handle it well. There are some tweaks you can make to your INI files that can help with it a little bit (Frostfall's mod page has that info), but in general if you find that your scripts are starting to lag, you need to cut back on the script-heavy mods you are using. Some mods that you wouldn't expect to be using scripts use them, too, so take a close look at your mod list and see if there are any you can trim. If you decide to remove any, make sure you follow the instructions thoroughly instead of just uninstalling the mod or you may screw up your save games (you often need to stop the script before you uninstall). If you want to check if there's a particular mod eating all the resources, you can create a new save and stop the script on a single mod and uninstall it, then save again and play on that new save for about an hour — just make sure you don't overwrite your original save, so you have something to go back to if there's a problem. Test script functions each time (Frostfall is good for this since setting up the camping equipment is an easy way to tell if there's script lag) until things smooth out for you. I simply disabled "Convenient Horses", "Convenient horses Herding", "horse whistle", "horses for followers" and "horse branding" and went back to a save previous to activating all of these mods. It wasn't a big loss since I hadn't played much since this problem started. My main question right now is "How can I know if a mod runs heavily on scripts?" fiewiel
I too would like to know an answer to this question. If the mod uses loose files I can check /scripts folder of the archive and the number of the files there might hint about script usage. Or I install the mod make a save, uninstall mod, load save and than check the papyrus log about entries. But thats not really good and reliable. The best thing so far is checking the modpage and the comments section. I knew that convienant horses is running tons of scripts because the author wrote it. In the end I used it but actually I only wanted a mod which let my follower use a horse when Im riding one. Dont need mounted combat, horse charge or horse herding. Just a horse for my follower. -.-
