Creating New NPC's From Scratch

Hey guys.

 

I was just wondering if anyone knew where i could get started on making NPC's in skyrim from scratch. By that i mean, new skeleton, new mesh, new texture. Everything completely new. If anyone knows any software or tutorials I could look at that would be epic.

Well, for skeleton only, you'll need at the very least:

 

3DS Max

Havok Content Tools

Nif Scripts for 3DS Max

HKXCMD.EXE

 

Building a new skeleton is a fairly complex task, and so far, I haven't found any tutorial on that. Some bits and tips, here and there, but you still need to do a lot of keyboard head bashing to try to figure it out (at least thats what I feel, started messing with Havok Content Tools just this week)
