LP08 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 How do you remove old loose scripts from the papyrus manager? I opened a mod to make some tweaks, and then later uninstalled it. Now, the scripts from that mod are listed in the Papyrus Manager, and every time I use the CK, it gives me warnings about the missing scripts when I go to add a new script. The use info on the old (missing) scripts is correct - 0. The CK knows they are not being used, but somehow it still wants them there. How does it even remember? Anyway, this is just an annoyance. Does anyone know how to fix this?
scrivener07 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Got to data/scripts and delete the .pex files for the scripts you want gone

scrivener07 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Reload your plugin if you already did that. It only refreshes at the beginning of a session unless your adding new ones. Maybe a bug?
LP08 Posted February 8, 2013 Author Posted February 8, 2013 OK, just in case anyone else ever has this strange problem, here is what worked for me: I renamed my Scripts folder to ScriptsBak and created a completely empty Scripts folder. Then, I opened the Creation Kit, then closed it down again. Then, I renamed ScriptsBak to Scripts, and voila, no listing of old scripts. I have no idea why this worked. Those old scripts have been in there bugging me for forever, it seems like.
