Deseoso
Some of the player home mods I use include custom paintings and portraits on the walls. What programs can I use to create my own? My girlfriend has expressed an interest in seeing this game next time she visits me and I would like to surprise her. She is an artist herself so I would like to have some of her paintings hanging on the walls of my house and a portrait of her hanging in one of the rooms. Xaranth
Photoshop, GIMP, or Paint.NET. With Photoshop, you want the nVidia texture plugins. GIMP needs DDS plugins. Paint.NET has native support for DDS. The output you want is DXT5 (Interpolated Alpha) I like Paint.NET for 90% of all image manipulation tasks. For the other 10% I use Photoshop, but GIMP is free and Photoshop is expensive...
Deseoso
Luckily I already have Photoshop CS3. Now to just get the plugin. Never heard of Paint.NET or Gimp but will check them out. I'm only looking for some very simple changes. Literally just replacing some of the pictures hanging on the walls with my girlfriend's art. Never heard of a DXTS. Hopefully it should all be fairly self-explanatory but I may message you if I get stuck.
