PatchReina
my laptop isn't exactly the best thing to play skyrim on but its what I have for now. And honestly i can play it competently without too many hiccups or issues with the performance steps I've taken. That lead me to try the REAL enb mod...and my hubris made me pay the price of horrible stuttering and making the game unplayable. After unistalling the enb I'm back to normal somewhat....save for the shadows. When i walk under an arch way or a passing cloud and god forbid trees...my vision is blanketed in sudden shadow for at least 20 feet radius of my character...not only that but I swear i can see the texture seems of shadows like random lines criss crossing eachother. Is there any fix for this? Belial666
I dunno what that is.It looks like graphics glitches not shadow seams.Have you tried deleting your prefs and letting it make new one?Make sure you changed bFloatPointRenderTarget=1 to bFloatPointRenderTarget=0 if no mods you use need it. Deleted3507349User
If the video card in your laptop is a Radeon, This mod should fix it. Use the D3D9Gen utility to make a custom D3D9.dll. Worst case scenario it doesn't work. If it doesn't work just delete the custom D3D9.dll. Won't damage your game, saves, or anything. Good luck! PatchReina
I"ll try the mod thing, and how does it make the new pref file?
Belial666
To make new pref, jsut goto where your Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini are, change .ini to .old, just incase. Then when you open Skyrim launcher it'll check hardware and make a new prefs file.
