help to decide

(i hope i posted in the right forum - if not - pls move it)

So i played vanilla skyrim back when it was released and i found it uninteresting due to various reasons, but mostly because of bad dumbed down gameplay (compared to old rpgs).

the requiem mod seems what i needed - so i'm about to try skyrim again with requiem mod (unless anyone knows a better hardcore overhaul):

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19281

however, i need some help and suggestions what other mods are essential to improve gameplay.

all i'm looking for is gameplay and overall rpg expierence improvements - just like requiem does. I don't care about textures or how the world looks AT ALL.

i gonna play just with the downguard DLC (as i understand requiem mod doesn't work with dragonborn DLC yet).

so first of all i should get bug fixes:

- Unofficial Skyrim Patch)

- Unofficial Dawnguard Patch

- Brawl Bugs Patch

UI improvements:

-SkyUI

apart from these technical thingies - what else should i get with requiem to make gameplay as good as possible?

i'm really at a loss (looking around for like 2 h and can't decide what i need), cause there are so many mods and prolly not all of them will work with requiem and not all of them will make the game hardcore like requiem does.

And again i'm not looking for shiny things, only gameplay/rpg element improvements

ty in advance

Well, I'd ignore the previous answer if I were you, you don't want leveled encounters if you're using a deleveler :P

I would get Economics of Skyrim (I noticed it's on the compatible list). It might not play completely nice with it, but it doesn't seem like it would hurt if they say it's compatible. It basically changes prices and availability of things based on region, which I really like.

Frostfall, which is a hypothermia mod. This is definitely hardcore and I don't play without it, although I haven't tried version 2.

I would probably get Subliminal Traps, as the Requiem page said you could use to over write the completely invisible pressure plates, because I feel there should be some choice there... You should have the slim chance to avoid them with care.

Also, I always play with food mod, and since Realistic Needs & Diseases was listed on the compatible list there probably that one. (The one I use hasn't been updated in almost a year, so I need to find a new one myself.)

Skytest and Realistic Wildlife are ones I use because I like to hunt and craft, and they make the world less empty. 'Less empty' is good.

I'm glad I saw this, I didn't know about Requiem before, and now I'll have to get it for when I play with an overhaul.
