skippy19701
I may just be stupid at this or something but I am trying to make a mod for Dragonborn but every time I set the master files (Skyrim, Update, and Dragonborn) to open I keep getting first a message saying localized string could not be read with a pick of abort retry or ignore everyone of them results in me having the creation kit stop working. I made simple mods for myself before using Skyrim and Update so I can't understand what I'm doing wrong. Any advice? Eckss
In your Skyrim folder, open SkyrimEditot.ini and add the followong line under the [General] category.bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1 That should fix it. :)
ilikecheese1337
I think you also have to add Dragonborn/Dawnguard/Hearthfire.bsa to the SArchiveList line and SResourceArchiveList2 line.
Eckss
I think you also have to add Dragonborn/Dawnguard/Hearthfire.bsa to the SArchiveList line and SResourceArchiveList2 line. You could do, but if you actually want to do anything related to those contents you really should unpack the bsa into your Data folder; this prevents the CK from ignoring some of the contents of the bsa and throwing up errors about missing files. ;)
