Ok I had to reduce the size extend couse dunno why the tesannwyn generated maps of sizes larger than a 2048 simply crash my geck , not sure whats its due to , anyway this is 2048 x 2048 and reporduces a larger manhattan island compared to befoure map ... I also put here the map esp file so in ce you can help me check if the dimensions are ok , it doesnt have to be on perfect scale like 1 to 1 but enough big to be plausible like Washington DC reproduced by Bethesda , according to the use of same proportion tough I had to enlarge couse the same ar4a of Brooklin bridge looked much smaller than the Potomac DC river crossing , so I enlarged to double , please check ingame the area from 0 0 to the landmark showing the washington monument wich should be the Liberty Island landmark placeholder ....

 

Check ingame using the commands from tab:

 

cow Metropolis 0 0 , this will teleport in center of the map that you can see , travel accordingly to explore a bit the area .....

here is now anlther problem I get while making lods after lot of time generating them then a error pops up and here is the picture ...

I ran into the same problem with anything larger than 2048x2048

So I made my worldspace that size.

The triangle flipped message doesn't sound like a problem (sounds more like it fixed a glitch)

 

 

By the look of the picture I would have taken a smaller area and made it 2048x2048 to get better scaling.

 

making worldspaces takes a lot of patience (I have made like 5 of them so far)

Ok I am posting the esp file for testing so people can tell me what they think of the dimensions , no lods for now couse I firse have to know if proportions are good , if water level are good and most of all as uestion will lod be affected if I create them now and after I rise the water level?

to reach Statue of Liberty island go to tab and type cow Metropolis -18 -8

 

 

Consider please the proportions dimensions , if acceptable or not , may be a NY ese guy would be better to guess out proportions , remember thats nota 1 to 1 scale since its impossibleto make an same scale ambient , its should be as good as to give a proportionate view of the place and a bit of distance enough to look plausible but small enough to not take years to make ....

 

also do u think the fundal is too high ? compared to the land ?

The power of SKETCHUP (all of those buildings were designed with Google Sketchup)

 

(I do all my designing with sketchup, some of the models in that link are old models of mine)

Pretty late here so I ll limit myself to post a couple of pics , I am not really "proud" of that statue , costed lot f time to do and not the result I would have expected ..... especuially in the texturing look ....

tough how I do to make a door to teleport from the Washington DC to the place?
